Where I'm at

• Kids are expensive
• Overdraft charges are too
• I'm proud to be American
• I'm not proud to be a citizen of a country with a warlord as a leader (the kind that invades another country on flimsy justification; you know, like Kuwait)
• February is the shortest month of the year but lingering winter makes it seem like the longest
• Coffee is for closers
• Genetics are a crapshoot, sometimes you get snake eyes
• Large sums of money can drive a sharp wedge into formerly solid objects
• It's better to be alone than to endure the eventual goodbye
• There's more to life than meets the eye
• It pays to pay attention to what you can't see
• Kids will say what you want to believe, to get what they want
• Dogs are the only judgement-free critters in the universe
• They are also like kids that never grow up
