Hurricane watch?

I didnt know they could tell time.
Son1 is in the path of Rita. Ironic point, Rita was their daycare provider for many years. Now he has to get out of her way. Its supposed to land on early Saturday morning. My Midwestern son is experiencing another first.
He was telling me amazing stories of pre-hurricane activity, three times the normal business traffic at the local Wal-Mart, neighbors packing and leaving, crowded highways north. I suggested he get the hell out of there, ASAP.
He left Houston at about 2 PM today. His school is closed until Monday. Depending on the result of the storm, it could be longer. He and his friend from St. Louis are sharing the driving, and the cost.
What I didnt realize until this morning is that hes driving all the way back here! I figured hed go a few hundred miles north and find a place to stay, but several thousand other displaced Houstonians probably had the same idea. Hes going to deliver his friend to his house, and should arrive here at about 2PM tomorrow, depending on the state of the exodus from Texas. Son2 doesnt know his brother will be home tomorrow, its a surprise.
