Padres and Birthdays
It was an action packed weekend: Son2's birthday and Father's Day. He was my Father's Day present 18 years ago. Now he's big and hairy. Behold:
He bought himself a gas powered R/C car. It's unbelieveably fast!
So we spent Fathers Day running from parking lot to parking lot with this thing. We also made a few trips back to the hobby center to get more parts for it. Because it's new, it shook a few parts loose, and we managed to knock a few parts loose as well. He's had remote control cars before, but nothing like this. He decided on a gas car because he didn't want to have to wait for batteries to re-charge. And the smell of the exhaust reminds me of the days when I used to run these things. It's a strange mixture of methane alcohol and castor oil. Yum!
