About my last entry, my wise older sister (who was a raving Beatlemaniac back in the day) sent me this:

And it's "Declare the pennies on your eyes"--I loved that line. Old George H. turned into a fiscal conservative when he saw how little of his hard earned money was left to him in the early sixties. He made out okay in the end, though he is still quite dead.

Also the first day of spring heralds the sprouting of the bulbs and the greening of the grass... and on this day the day and the night are equal. We had snow here last night, a cruel joke Nature plays on us.
